THE SHAKESPEARE EXPERIENCE

Three days Seminar on "The Tempest"

Shakespeare's Tempest is one of his greatest and yet one of his most mysterious plays. This series of seminars -inspired by the works of Peter Dawkins- will drive into the mystery, to explore the real meaning of Prosper's magic, the nature of Ariel, his spirit.

The souls of the other characters as aspects of the human psyche, and the alchemical and evolutionary rhythms of the play. The Tempest will be revealed as a "book" of wisdom and initiation, with many levels of profound meaning, written by a Master who knew the nature and possibilities of the human mind and shares the vision associated with ancient traditions and movements of his time.

“Anthony & Cleopatra”   Does the Asp win?

A tale of passion overcoming reason, of Venus overcoming Mars -of love and war, trust and betrayal, loss and gain.  But what has been lost? What has been gained?

Like other Shakespeare plays, "Anthony and Cleopatra" is not just a dramatized history-cum-fiction but also an allegory with several layers of psychological insights, hidden meanings, and underlying wisdom, applicable to human individuals, human relationships and human society as a whole.

These weekends are a blend of teaching, discussion, conversation and play-reading-enactment, with the experience of the play in performance.

"Eternity was in our lips and eyes, Bliss in our brows bent." (1.3.36)
